The Happy New Year thread

While there is a reasonable margin of uncertainty, I think most of us can agree: soon enough, there will be a new year. Since I live in Taiwan the new year will come for me in about twelve hours while most of you will be still enjoying the questionable pleasures of the old one.

So, I wish you all a prosperous and interesting (verging on intriguing) New Year and I present you with my personalised wish list for TWC:
