    Default Hiding Money

    Hello All,

Just your friendly neighborhood Lord Condormanius here to ask a silly question. So far with this game, I have noticed that the interface and setup of this game is basically identical to that of Diablo, which makes it very easy to get used to. However, I can't figure out how to store money in mt chest. Can anyone help me with this?

Also, is there a way to consolidate food items so that I don't have to carry 8 different loaves of bread with 12 slices each?

    Thanks,
    LC

You don't need to hide money, I don't think you can anyway.

And no, you can't combine food objects, as far as I know.

If I'm right, you can't store money into your chest. But you are able to carry an unlimited amount of money on you at any given point of time (although losing a battle will cost you some).

I don't understand your second question. Why carry 8 different bread? I usually only carry food items with a high supply, such as meat and flour/grain.

Never heard anyone compare M&B to Diablo lol at least not visually but no you can't store money in the chest but I just started playing 903 and actually have to reinstall it since just formatted the other day. Also you can't combine food items either. In that respect it forces you to be more strategic rather than being able to load up to the gills with stuff, but you can increase your inventory space through the inventory management skill.

I haven't found a need for a lot of food unless I've got a larger number of henchmen.

Once you hit the 60s you need a lot of food to go long distances, depending on the mod.

Ok, but if you can't store money in the chest, then why is there a money indicator on the chest? Also, the Ransom Broker says it is a good idea to stash some money away.

    Armatus...

The interface is exactly like Diablo. There is not even a single difference that I can see.

I've never tried that, but I don't think you can, it might be cool if there was some sort of banking system.

I don't think they had reliable banks back then, other than the templars, but M&B isn't based on total realism, I doubt any lord would entrust the care of this thousands of denars to anyone except himself. When you get defeated you lose like 10% of your total, which is probably what you keep on your person at any given time. The rest is probably hidden away or in your manor/castle if you own any fiefs.

If you have fiefs, but you have more money than you need, dont visit the fiefs until you need the money.

That's a good idea about fiefs, I think banking would fit reasonably well for the era of M&B considering they've placed many renaissance armors and weapons throughout the game.
