Broken crescent mod and fair treatment.

I understand that this thread is possibly in the wrong forum, but I want to draw attention to the theft of intellectual property.

As some may know I was the co-author of Broken crescent mod.

I decided recently that progress and direction weren't as I imagined, and so I made steps to move away from the mod and setup my work in a new mod framework. I hoped that the co-author "Mirage41" would be at the least civilized in our parting. Please understand that I have no intention to use a single byte of anyone elses work.

Unfortunately it has appeared that he has not only removed my administration rights from the BC mod forum, he has also banned me from that forum. His communications via MSN have been volatile and I no longer have a channel of communication with him.

This was my last communication with him:

Aside from rough treatment, the main issue I would like to raise is that he fully intends to steal my work and pass it off as his own. I would like to declare that no mod other than Medieval: Middle East has the rights to use my intellectual property. I hope TWcenter will be supportive in my case and will not side with a thief.

Thank you for posting, of course you failed to post the final 6 or 7 lines, I will post the entire log if anyone requests it.

Anyway, this entire issue can be resolved once you state you have no intention of releasing any part of my work.

I'm very sorry to inform you Dave that all the work done for BC belongs to BC. You're fighting a war you simply cannot win. Denial of use at the final stage of development has been done before and has failed when others tried the same.

All the work you did upon entering BC, was for BC and BC only. In fact I recall this being your idea. The units are the property of BC, and if anything we will take it up with the moderatorss to prevent any release of BC's units in any other mods.

I own the copyright to all my mesh and texture files. The original source files are all time-stamped and dated. I can provide MD5's for all source files to prove authenticity. My models and textures will be used exclusively in Medieval: Middle east. Morally, ethically and lawfully you have no right to my work.

Again I ask for people to support the cause of preventing this theft of intellectual property.

And no, that's not a nicely asked request.
