In most of factions, character could have only 1 main and 1 subculture(which only for some ethnic which cover over a variety groups of people) but variety in choice such as.

Rome: 1 main and 2 sub(one for class and another for political party) they are victor of the era, so they get more than others.
Carthage: 1 main choose from 6 and no sub(they have variety enough form main)
*Macedon: 1 main and no sub
*Seleucid: 1 main choose from 2 and no sub
*egypt: 1 main choose from 3 and no sub
Baktria: 1 main choose from 4 and have sub for only scythian
*Armenia: 1 main choose from 2 and no sub
Pontus: 1 main choose from 4 and only have sub for Anatolian and Celt(galatian only)
Spain: 1 main choose from 2 and 1 sub
Scythia: 1 main choose from 2 and 1 sub
Thrace: 1 main choose from 2 and 1 sub for Thracian only
Saba: 1 main choose from 3 and 1 sub for Arab only
Parthia: 1 main choose from 2 and 1 sub for Pahlavan only
    GCS/Indy greek: 1 main(hellenic) and 1 sub(city state)
    Gauls/Indy Gauls: 1 main(celt) and 1 sub(tribes)
    Germans: 1 main(german) and 1 sub(tribes)

Maybe some need to tweak for game balance, especially for bonus as main diadochi factions don't have sub due to hellenistic greek turn into homogenous people differ from their homeland. Maybe Royal linage traits should be add(such as Ptolemaic, Seleucid, Antigonid traits, etc.)

    What do you think?

If you are planning to create those dynastic lines for the Seleucids and the Ptolemies, then those Generals and Governors probably should have certain royal names and numbers to indicated to position? E.g. Antiokhos I Soter, Ptolemaios II Philadelphos, etc.

I mean the most of the Seleucid kings and princes were either Seleukos (in Latin Seleucus) or Antiokhos (in Latin Antiochus), and there were a couple of Demetrios (Demetrius) in the later history: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seleucid_Empire

As we know in the case of the Ptolemies the situation is even more simple, all the kings were called as Ptolemaios (Ptolemy; 15) and many of their queens were known as Kleopatra (Cleopatra; 7)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ptolemaic_dynasty

In the case of the Macedonian royal dynasty, the Antigonids, those most common names of the kings should be Antigonos, Demetrios or Philippos. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_kings_of_Macedon

About those nicknames Nikator (Victor), Soter (Saviour), Epiphanes (Illustrious), Euergetes (Benefactor) or Megas (Great) seem to be rather common epithets for the Hellenistic rulers.

I don´t know if it is necessary to create those royal lines, but you can use some of these ideas if you have plans for dynastic traits.

I changed Philadelphus to Philanthropist in English, because "Brother-Lover" doesn't work well in English.

Names of ethnic groups are generally always capitalized.

And I don't understand the point of the divorced trait; I didn't think RTW allowed divorces.

They have divorced traits which I don't know mechanism but I could see rare case in vanilla that divorced happen(but no alert event to warned you). Maybe it is the same as Vanilla roman political post. I just made them trigger follow that trait.

Well, if the wife ran a school (unlikely in that era)...

OK, you are the trait expert here; I was just wondering.

I was thinking, with the new special temples, perhaps you should cap the level on certain triggers. So that one doesn't get unusual ancillaries and traits from special temples.

    For example, this:

    Code:
    ;------------------------------------------
    Trigger temple_of_horse_2_vnv_trigger_01
        WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

        Condition EndedInSettlement
              and RemainingMPPercentage = 100
              and SettlementBuildingExists >= temple_of_horse_2_temple

        Affects ReligiousAscetics 1 Chance 5
        Affects Nonviolence 2 Chance 5
        Affects Nonkleptocrat 1 Chance 5
        Affects HateBuddhist 1 Chance 5
        Affects Buddhist 1 Chance 15
Could be changed to this to prevent the special temples from triggering.
    Code:
    Trigger temple_of_horse_2_vnv_trigger_01
        WhenToTest CharacterTurnEnd

        Condition EndedInSettlement
              and RemainingMPPercentage = 100
              and SettlementBuildingExists >= temple_of_horse_2_temple
              and SettlementBuildingExists < temple_of_horse_2_temple_sp

         Affects ReligiousAscetics 1 Chance 5
        Affects Nonviolence 2 Chance 5
        Affects Nonkleptocrat 1 Chance 5
        Affects HateBuddhist 1 Chance 5
        Affects Buddhist 1 Chance 15
    Just a thought.

I thought the man had more than one wife, which would have made the first one, or the one whose children would inherit first, his principal wife.

    What is a principle wife?

The principle wife is what you are calling the principal wife. The only difference is that usually in English (American English at least), a principal is the chief (or principle) administrator of a school.

Principle as an adjective means chief or first.

I really do need a copy of Merriam-Webster to supplement my other dictionaries. The LDE says exactly the opposite of what you say, but it doesn't have all AmE variations so I'm sure you're right.

I was wondering if there is any way to give some kind of traits when the General establishes a new minor settlement (formerly watchtower). Something like a trait of City Founder? In my recent campaign I have one particularly useless General that doesn´t do much as a Governor, and I don´t really need him to lead an army, so I have mainly use him to build those minor settlements in strategical positions.

The other thing about those Traits is the word "Berber" as one of the ethnic trait for the Carthaginians. How about some less modern and more ancient term like "Libyan" (their lands extended from modern Morocco to the western borders of ancient Egypt) or "Numidian"? It is said the people of ancient Libya were the ancestors of the modern Berbers...
