This hear is for fans of Victoria 2 I am going to submit this to Paradox's Victoria forum but I first want to see how you respond to the ideas.
First this one is very much needed in my opinion, Get a better graphics engine. second concerns battles I would like to see the next one allow you to watch battles I personally don't care if the graphics look like they're from RoN but make it so you can watch the battles. Maybe make it so that one man on the battle field equals 250 so a battle between 40,000 men would look like 160 men were fighting also an artillery group would have around 8 artillery to represent the added soldiers or a group of Guards or such would have colorful uniforms. Also make it so that the engine would generate a terrain of the battle field based on the provinces terrain so you'd see large amounts of trees if forested or few trees if not and if the enemy is entrenched they had dug outs. For ship warfare have every detachment be three ships. the same would apply to Submarines to have 3 ships per group also subs couldn't have detachments for risk of blowing their cover.
Oh speaking of ships make it so that the Dreadnought actually has torpedo attacks. Also the Battle cruiser/ heavy cruiser/ armored cruiser class should be able to fire torpedoes and perform shore bombardment. Also make it so there are several different types of subs you'd first have a submersable fallowed by the submarine fallowed finally by the electronic sub. Also in the viewable battles I'm proposal
Next is aircraft I suggest that their be the ability to research technologies for zeppelins/blimps which could at first function solley as Scouts but could later be also used for bombing raids but of course they'd have a limited range, and they'd suffer attrition if their was rain or snow where they were flying. Also after 1903 you'd be able to research technology to make cheaper airplane scouts however they'd have much less range then zeppelins and be much more subject to weather attrition. Eventually you'd have technology that would make your first fighter plane which would be able to intercept zeppelins, then you'd be able to make A even better one that would have the first zeppelins range soon after that better fighters and bombers. About this time infantry could start to have Flak detachments which would cut zeppelins to ribbons.
That reminds me also make it so that their can be bad weather which would function as an attritional modifier in battle.
