FRRE Installer Preview! (WIP)

Hello dear fans,

I'm please to announce you the future release of the FRRE Pack Installer.



As you may already know the FRRE team has released two mods in the past (TFT v1.92 and 77BC v2.0) and will shortly release 58BC: CAesar Imperator!

A former fan (hip63) of TFT has released an incredible launcher for TFT that you'll find here and we decided to draft him to the team.

He has created this installer that include:

1º 58BC: CAesar Imperator! v1.0 (+hotixes)
2º 77BC: Twilight of the Republic v2.1
3º TFT Gold Edition: The First Triunvirate. The "Gold" is because we will skin most of the old TFT units with newer and better models.

Here is the FRRE installation menu, where you'll select which mod to install:



Each mod will have a different launcher. Here's preview:




Now you should be asking if I'm some kind of idiot since a launcher and an installer are not enough reasons for such a big preview.... but we have more goodies for you....

Have you ever run short of hard drive space because you have several mods installers stored in your pc?
Hell YES! Well... why don't you back up them on a DVD?:



So, you don't have a DVD writer? Maybe a CD is better for you:

Now you can erase those big installers from your computer and still be able to install or desinstall FRRE anytime you want!!!

But wait.... Does your FRRE CD/DVD case looks strange? Don't you believe you are missing something?.

*Please note that this is still a work in progress.
*This pack will be released after 58BC is out in order to include hotfixes.

does these mods have their own mod folder

rusina: of course it does. in fact 77BC, TFT and 58BC will be installed in separate folders inside the same BI 1.6 directory. I have all of them installed in the same path along with EB and I never experienced any problems.

if you guys "messing" with TFT and provided have some spare time, there is couple of thing you may want to look into:
Parthian cities in the east cannot be upgraded to the next level. once population hits 12000 no government building becomes available for construction as it should.
another thing is that Parthian city guard infantry has skirmish mode. not sure if it meant to be that way...

DOES THAT MEAN MY FTF INSTALLER 2.0 IS NOT THE GOLD,????? AND IF NOT ALL I NEED TO DO IS GET THIS NEW ONE TO HAVE FTF GOLD????
