‡Peace on earth - Death to the Enemy!‡
Calm down, and get back on topic. Back on topic if I may ask could you give me a preview of a peoni heavy infantry if you redesigned them? Weve put all of our focus on guals, parthia, and pontus, but how carthage?
Look at eh stickied threads, and there is one for Carthage and Iberia.
Oh wow, I'm really excited about the new buildings. The more choices the better!
The Celtic champions looks choice as well.
It's here - no longer a stickied thread: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=93369
This Is a grate idea, I like it very much. But I have own question, In Rome total war You can look around your City from with in the Walls. I've been playing The mod which I think is grate by the way. Anyways when you try to look around your City's in the mod it crashes. I assume its not built in to the mod, but will you be able to do this in the next version?.
Another preview - again a unit you have already seen - this is one of Antiochus Epiphanes' skins which he has updated since the Seleucid preview.....it's a Seleucid Kataphractoi - definitely one of my favourites.
Thanks to EB for giving permission to use both the kataphrctoi and armoured horse models
Is his face... Metal?
It is a facemask. Even Romans sometimes used such metal face protections.
Nice!
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."

**RS Dev Team***Reciprocal Repper!* RIP Calvin- you will be missed
Lemons is right but they also wore them for protection.

@ lemons:
The Carthaginians and Iberians were the first factions re-skinned in preparation for RS2. So we decided to throw the fans a bone and show them those skins.
@aja
Okay, danke(that german for thanks).
@the dog.
I think the romans wore those for protection mostly againt huns, because the huns would throw a rope with a noose type thing when they were on their horse to strangle the romans. Damn huns. But the saxons didnt care if they got hurt because they were all bloodlust, I think the saxons only wore them for intimidation. But because these were time consuming and expensive they werent used much.
There was also one found in the Teutoburger Wald (where Varus lost, not sure how it is called in English).
are the roman named legions being 'redone' for RS2.0?
