unlock factions or add ?pls

i think i'll go crazy... i whant more factions for medieval 1 total war..how do i unlick hungarians or the golden horde... ????or some other faction... pleaseee

Go to Medieval TW/campmap/startpos and open the .txt folder of a campaign you like to play with any of those countries - early, high or late.

Next search for word MAJOR and you will see a list of factions - all those named MAJOR are playable so if you want to chose Hungarians or the Golden Horde simply change the word MINOR next to the faction's name to MAJOR and that is all.
Next save the changes and start the game - it should work fine now.

But remember to create backup files in case you make a mistake somewhere.
