"They are there; so I must kill them" - Lord Berwick
Non sibi sed patriae
leliana's one of those characters where I actually think Bioware did a pretty good job on the face model, so I always stick with the default
morrigan on the other hand, I used a modded face for so long, when I reinstalled Origins a while back I thought I'd done something wrong because her makeup looked really odd![]()
Everytime i see this thread become active i want to re-install and re-play this game, but then i go like "oh yea its summer".
Cant wait for winter![]()
Is there anyone more wise then me?
So what if it's summer? I recently finished Origins. I see no point in playing Awakening since Origins seems like a completed story. Anything after it is bound to butcher the lore.
Dragon age 3 is possible ?
I hate dragon age 2 ...
The better is Dragon age 1 !![]()
I replayed DA:O not long ago, too. I must've put 100 hours in that game and every hour was worth 10 hours on many other games. Sten telling how he stole cookies from a fat kid was more memorable than anything on Skyrim.I'm currently replaying it again from time to time, despite it being summer.*
DAO has the best dialogues and characters i have seen in while. every character is interesting and èpic is quite amazing how good this game is. Specialy in comparisom to new bioware titles.
I mean this is Èpic.

Is it only me who thinks morrigan is the most attractive personality ever made in a game? Ofcourse we take her looks into account. Some personalities fit better depending on how you look.
To much hate against that beautiful character imo.
she is ugly as hell in the trailer though![]()
Is there anyone more wise then me?
I actually really like her in the trailer. Bit more unique looking.
I did like her personality too up until she decided to A: Leave or B: Leave slightly later.
Logical paradoxes and giant dragons don't get on.
I never really liked Morrigan, either in looks or personality, and didn't really consider her to be that amazing except in the dialog between her and the much-loathed Alistair, who I probably preferred over Morrigan. Still, my favorite characters were Sten and Shale. The characters were better done than in DA2, though in general I preferred the latter as a game.
Hands down Morrigan is my favorite companion 'of all time', to the point I still haven't gotten around to see all of the romance dialog with Liliana. Hehe I did chat up Zevron a bit to the point he was ripe for the picking but Morrigan put the squash to that real quick. Jeez I didn't peg her as the jealous type after her little speech the first time we hooked up. Besides it wasn't like I was serious, it was just a faze. I was young, impressionable and just experimenting a little...you know how it goes lololol. Seriously though, Morrigan was everything I wanted in a companion and love interest in an RPG.
Loved Alistar as well, we had a bromance going on. In all my playthroughs those two characters were mainstays in my party. Never left camp without them.
Morrigan & Alistair are my personal favourites in DA:O. And Oghren too, because I love so much those little snappy dwarfsI'm so glad that he returned in Awakening
I hope that Bioware makes Dragon Age 3 more like Dragon Age Origins, and will include such great companions as in the first one.

I just hope the combat system won't be like DAO, though I know many of you liked it.
DA2 combat as a rogue was the only thing that was playble. While i found that i had to cheat my way through several playthroughs untill i enjoyed the combat in da:o. Cba reading everying attack of all my companions. I have enough reading my own ty.

They have a tactics menu for a reason and a mod that makes it even better.
