I feel that we are in no shape to fight two enemies right now;If we can reach a compromise with the Carthaginians,we would solve a great problem. However,while I see that its important to secure peace,I object in the case where peace treaty requires to give out some of our provinces to the enemy.That kind of compromise is unthinkable in my mind.

These Punic men are not fools. Dogs and bastards though they are. They do not want a bitter battle. They seek the remains of the Epirot lands, not a great war with Rome. Make a ceasefire and allow them the time and space to leave our lands.
