How different is XGM Diadochi to XGM?

I was wondering how diffferent this is to ordinary XGM, for example how many diffferent units, how many new cities, if there is new faction badges, difficulty etc.

Well really i just want to know what is different about it compared to the original XGM as i might try it out when i have finished my AAR.

And BTW can you have XGM and Diadochi at the same time? (You get what i mean right?)

They have some different factions, new units, it is somewhat more difficult.. new faction badges etc.
Download it and try. They can exist at the same time.

Will do, also where do you install it? is it just in the rtw folder or somewhere else?

It installs automatically just like XGM...in your RTW folder you will see two folders one titled "XGM" and one "XGMD".

Diadochi is great, if feels more rugged, like the people are kind of dirty.

doesnt matter now back to acceptable time. I said that as i shot up to 2 hours but its back to 1/2 hour now. But thxs anyway.

And wot order do you install it in?

Well the game adds more greek factions like the atheans and eites and kingdom of pergamum it adds units with sheild wall to most factions it changes gauls banners as well as most faction names it takes away saba and dacia as playable factions it also adds many new phalanx units that are fun and new music from alexander troy gladiator etc as well as many other little goodies. I only downloaded it this morning but im already on a campaign to unify greece and macedon under the falg of the athean empire.

What faction has the lambda as their symbol?

The Achaean League has the lambda as their standard. But don't hold Sparta at the beginning.

I took sparta 3rd it was very difficult to crush them with the mediocre levy spearmen and milita.

If anyone wonders why the Achaean League has the red lambda, it's supposed to represent the fresh and pure new strength of a small faction, ready to replace the old power (Sparta).

If by worse you mean hard, then I agree. The Achean League seems to be the hardest. Silverstack pikemen to the north, silverstack pikemen to the east and spartans to the south. Yourself only have some crappy militia.
