This is my first post here, i just wanted to say I'm enjoying following your AAR. I'm also playing Saba in EB1.0 and Meroe also revolted from Ptolemy to me about 2 turns after they captured it from the Eleutheroi.

I thought it was because I already owned Axum next door, and had a spy in Meroe. Maybe it's more of a scripted event.

My territory map looks similar to yours that you posted Nov. 25, though I don't have Petra or Gerrha yet. I've been expanding but at peace with all powers until Meroe's revolt started a war with Ptolemies. I'm gonna wait on attacking Gerrha so I don't touch Seleukia yet and I can focus my energy on taking territory from Ptolemy, starting with P-Theron. I look forward to reading more!
