    It's a really small install, should only take ~2 or 3 seconds to finish.

    Check the SRG recruitment time, if it's 10 turns then it's good.

    Remember this is for version 5.6.3

    I will be putting out a new version after DBH releases his next version of XGM.

    It's hard to keep up with Dime...but I digress, here's yet another fantastic version of XGM Command for version 5.6.7.

    In directory data\text\ have file "event_strings.txt" which have lines about descriptions and names of events and some of them are "eagle" related text. You can change some of them(both names and their descriptions) to suit with your submod when non-roman's eagle have been capture or being captured.

    I did that in the original Command files, but found that changing all those entries didn't change anything for the non-Roman units. There's some kind of trigger that gives "eagle lost" and those kind of tiles and traits to Roman generals only. Not sure how to change it, or if I want to. The file is very simple and only 178kb right now....

    As it is now, non-Roman units won't give those traits to non-Roman generals.

    But the command eagle WILL inspire nearby troops..., for all factions.

    If you want every faction can gain "lost eagle" traits you must edit "export_descr_character_traits.txt" in \data\ directory and remove excludeculture line from their trait's stat part(first part of file)(currently all non-roman faction are exclude for get these traits along with redeme traits) then it would be nolonger previlage for roman to disgraced anymore. For text description of traits are in "export_vnv.txt" in \data\text\ directory. It not hard for you to do.

    Sorry for so undescriptive reply as now I'm at my parent home without XGM or even RTW to check it for you but if you want to I would help you out in next 3 days.(I'm on holiday of the most disastrous festival, Songklarn!!! ) To do this is easy for me who work on Ethnic Traits project.

    One of the problems I had though was the "Eagle" being taken places once it is lost. This is ok for the Romans but doesn't make sense for anyone else. I guess I'd have to give it a little test to see what happens...

    The current version of XGM Command (5.6.7) will still work with the newest versions of XGM, up to version 5.6.10.

    See post #23 for the current version of Command.

    A new version of XGM Command will be coming out a few days after 5.7. Yippee!!! Thanks to DBH!!!

    All,
    A new version of XGM Command is out...there have been a couple minor changes to match what DBH has done with the 5.7 series of XGM. The SRG still has a lower recruitment time than vanilla XGM, 10 turns as opposed to 30 turns. I also gave the Barbarian cultures' Noble Cavalry the Command trait, they were lacking in special units...especially Thrace.
    So here it is...enjoy and post any comments or question you may have.

    The file is extremely small and only takes around 1/10th of a second to install.

    EDIT: This version of Command will not work with XGM 5.7.3.

    Will update XGM Command and post a new one soon!!! Like today or tomorrow soon...

    To keep up with DBH's epic ability to keep us interested in XGM...I have released a 5.7.4 friendly version of Command.
    All the same rules still apply, I have given the Command bonus to comply with some of the new units Dime has released.

    Again...trying to keep up with Dime!
    As always same rules apply, but with the two new units Dime has added; the Noble Falxman and Athenian Hoplite have both been given the Command Trait and accompanying eagle to show their elite status!
