    IMO should be good on legatus/legatus (On tribune it was easy for me to beat Pyrrhus and Phaidon with one stack lol in the first turn)

    Senators,I re-propose my motion to be allowed to recruit men to bolster the garrisons of the Republic and some men to serve as replacements in the Legions.

    I'm a bit confused why are we discussing it in the general assembly as well?

    To what extent? How many men do you suggest?

    Now that you think about it, this matter belongs to every senator, not for the militus.

    As many as we can get. I have a feeling we might need them.

    This thread is not useless, this thread is to discuss battles, campaigns, tactics all things war, so as to keep the main thread clear of talk that can be took somewhere else.

    The multiple threads work like this;we discuss all issues in their representative thread for ex. raising an army here,taxes in Comitatia Popula,romanazing the enemy in the Popula,any legislation in comitatia Curiata etc.Basically all can vote in all threads,not the legates here,the tribunes in popula etc.The general assembly(Curia Iulia)is only for debate and announcements...

    I am not sure on how many men to recruit.I can make a report with my proposals here and the time&cost to recruit the army.

    Well at any rate votes should still be conduced in the main thread. Also if that is the case let us move the discution here(unless its only for the legatus)

    Salve Consul,

    I have deliberated the subject of recruiting additional forces and I think that a new legion consisting of ;

    1 Italici Pedites,2 Maniples of Hastati, 2 Maniples of Princepes, 1 Italici Hoplites and a missile unit (funditores would be advisable vs. light armoured gauls etc), Captain led if no generals exist.

    Should be conscripted to garrison the Northern fort whilst the Second vacate it and move down to support the First.
