Ancient Empires or Imperator 2...They have some great features,plus they have both 4tpy,something that will make the game more role playing marvel! Other than that SPQR 6.4...

EB, IBFD, or ..erhm well thats all i can think of.

i personally didnt prefer RTR. perhaps we would use some mod that focuses on barb factions, and instead of a "senatE" we could be a council of cheiftains?

I would definently push for Imperator or EB. On second thought IBFD is still a bit buggy.

While EB is one of the best choices we could have troubles,because not all members have a over the moderate PC to play the mod without annoying lagging...Thats not my case,I have a kick-ass PC...

well, IBFD isnt buggy, save for the later version they recalled because it was TOO buggy.

Hmm....Imperator II or a Gallic faction in any mod...we could be the tribal leaders that have gathered for a meeting or etc.

IBDF doesn't sound too bad.

If we are going marian 77bc would be the better choice. Brings in the Civil war element as well as the unwashed barbarians you seem so fond of.

But then you would have to follow the senate's missions...What if they collide with the senate's votes???I would prefer Imperator II than the campaign of 77bc...

No there's an option to turn off senate missions. I would definently rather play Imperator, but with the regular campaign.
