No, they are supposed to run for 24 hours. Technically elected officials are supposed to take office on Saturday, so Ancus could still be campaigning and I am still Junior Consul.

Give what up? All I am saying is that there should be consistency with elections. Even though the optimates and populares have won this one, it should stay open for the full amount of time. There is no reason to rush things. If the polls are only meant to be open for 24 hours, then last week I won the election. That is all I am saying.

thats a good point. consistency would be rather nice especially in elections. anyhoo... would someone remind us what was happening before we were so rudely interrupted by the elections?

There is consistency in the elections. Thats my department and the one thing that I try to maintain perfectly. It was sanada who ran them this week due to time constraints, but they are always 24 hours.

Finally I declare that on this term i shall make my best so that all sides are heard and all options carried out. Its the least an Optimate can do,seeing that we boast,not without good reason,that we want to preserve the Res Publica at all costs!
I shall now rest and tomorrow I will investigate the Republic and I will post a report on my findings;Until then senators,I wish all a good night.
