Hey Guys
How is everyone? Well I've compiled so far my notes and it is on the Principality of Novgorod, Polotsk, and Kiev. Also the medieval states of Rascia and Zeta (modern day serbia and montenegro).
Extended are the resources I used, and the information. As thus it is also like brainstorming in my document. I am going from east to west in the map that is given.
I also ask about when I get to the HRE and Franks. How many regions are there? Are there all of the ones that you can't read? If so please could you give a better map. Also I gave some suggestions here as like the 3 principalities are at the start at 1100 'Kieven Rus' and I think it should be used. Then later Novgorod and that pops up so you'll have to differ.
I will provide information on Lithuania a bit later, but that is a proper civilisation completely seperate, although it was a 'vassal' for a century or so under the Kieven Rus'.
As thus here it is:
____________________
Region: Rascia
Capital and City of Rascia: Stari Ras.This is also the capital of the medieval Serbian Kingdom that lasted between 800-14 century ACE.
History: Raska (or Rascia) was the central and most successful medieval Serbian state that united neighbouring tribes into a united kingdom. This was the Medieval Kingdom of Serbia that lasted from 800 at its founding to the 14th Century.

Region: Zeta
City as at 1100 ACE: Cetinje, Skadar or Podgorica. Because of no proper written literature regarding the capital of the Medieval region Zeta before its independence, the ‘main’ city of Zeta has been not confirmed in literature. But it can be said its Skadar; because it pops up most in medieval literature regarding this region. Therefore the main city should be Skadar
History: Zeta advanced as a medieval power in 1356 when they achieved their independence from Rascia. Zeta established a powerful kingdom after this time. Zeta is present day Montenegro. As thus it is the southern most district of the Serbian Medieval Kingdom.

Capital of Kievan Rus as at 1100 ACE: Kiev
Region: Principality of Kiev
Cities: Kiev
Region: Principality of Polotsk
City: Polotsk
Region: Principality of Novgorod
City: Novgorod
History: Civilisation to be more historically called should be: Kieven Rus; due to the fact that it was the empire between 800-1240 ACE.. The history of these three regions (Principality of Polotsk, Principality of Kiev, Principality of Novgorod) all comes under the Kieven Rus which controlled most of the region until they went there separate ways. But Novgorod establishes its sovereignty and independence in 1136. “In 1136, the Novgorodians dismissed their prince Vsevolod Mstislavich. This date is seen as the traditional beginning of the Novgorod Republic. The city was able to invite and dismiss a number of princes over the next two centuries, but the princely office was never abolished and powerful princes, such as Alexander Nevsky, could assert their will in the city irrespective of the Novgorodians' wishes.” Michael C. Paul, “The Iaroslavichi and the Novgorodian Veche 1230-1270: A Case Study on Princely Relations with the Veche,” Russian History/ Histoire Russe 31, No. 1-2 (Spring-Summer 2004): 39-59.
Also then Polotsk becomes part of Lithuania in 1307. “Polotsk became part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania in 1307, and it is said to have been the main center of trade in the state”. Kieven Rus’ was then succeeded by the Vladimir-Suzdal Principality, Halych-Volhynia and then the Mongol Invasions.

Looks interesting... however won't the eastern roman empire be inaccurately represented? I mean they won't have many of their historical enemies (particularly the turks).
I put a "2" instead of a "1" sorry
@ General_Vladimir : This is not a complete map, it's just a map that shows the limits of the mod.
@ Darkarbiter : No, in fact I first want to delete this faction but someone said me it would be stupid (he explained why) so I kept it. So, for turks it's not possible.
@ Nevada : are you french ?

Hail!
Sinople yes I understand, but a clearer map would be of excellent use once it is up of course.
Indeed Eastern Roman Empire. I know what you're saying darakabiter I agree. I shall have more information as thus, and then it is Sinople's decision.
Until then, adeu!! I hope that information was useful.

@ Nevada : The map is at 0%
@ General_Vladimir : It's difficult for me to explain in english why, I'll try in french perphaps you'll understand :
En fait, l'Empire Byzantin a été rajouté au mod car ce serait une erreur historique que de ne pas le mettre. Cependant, comme il est coupé en 2 (seulement une partie de son territoire est présente dans le mod), on ne peut envisager de mettre les turcs. De plus, c'est un mod sur l'Europe .
@ Darkarbiter : I tried in summer holidays. I reach to make new maps from scratch but my results were bad. For instance this what I done :

I neither have the time nor ability to make maps of that scale from scratch im afraid. Its a process I havn't quite managed yet. If you had someone else make the initial map I could work from there, but past that I am of little help.to Eclipse SG :
You're welcome, i've waited for so much time...
So, if you accept, this is the limit of the map I want :
ok then, I'll start working and create all files, if you think that the ground_types and so on need improvements, eclips will work on them, won't you?^^I neither have the time nor ability to make maps of that scale from scratch im afraid. could you send me some kind of internal beta (downloadlink vie e-mail or PM) to place the factions on the map?
do you want to use the maximum of regions(199)?
chall I (try to) give them french names?

But for the factions it will be a bit complicated, because I already start the work (the mod is based on the Grand Unit Addon), so the easiest way for you is to DL the Grand Unit Addon and then, I'll integrate what you'll make. So, you doesn't have to create new factions, just the map and the settlements.
For the settlements you can speak with General_Vladimir it's him the historian (and I want the maximum number ).
If you have any other question...
