Probably nothing specific in the eyes of most the players, but from an "alternative-history" point of view this is a turn of tides.Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
When starting the campaign with the Khwarezm the realization what's coming down upon me was shocking. The Khan didn't waste much time until he besieged my capital, luckily I recruited some cheap and lousy troops which took no time to be armed up. The city was ready to be leveled to the ground by the mongols. They were literally all over the walls, siege towers, battle ram, tunnel diggers. I was about to give up,but then the strategy of the mongols opened a window of opportunity. They were heading on with their entire cavalry and infantry,I rode out with the Shah and faced the Khan in a hand to hand combat. Fortune smiled upon the Khwarezm and the Khan was killed. The serpent's head was cut off and his army lost the will to fight, fleeing in terror back to the desert.
One can only imagine how would history be shaped if this is where Genghis Khan had failed. Surprisingly for TW Ai they stopped attacking me after this event, although they are now regrouping I gained some time to pull as much man as possible to bordering cities.
