Thread: squalor is killing me

  1. #1

    Default squalor is killing me

    I play SV 2.5 with Serbia, on medium difficulty and squalor is kiling me
    Is there any way to fix this, without setting campaign difficulty to easy?
    Maybe changing some config files?
    After just few year even in settlements of just 1000 people, squalor causes revolts.

    try to build buildings that raise health or food (i.e. communal farms, land clearing etc.), before others, they help to lower squallor.

    Keep in mind that large settlements are always full of squallor anyway. This is very historical, since the medieval cities were very dirt and full of endemic illnesses

    I know that medieval towns were extremely dirty(human waste,sewers on the streets...., diseases, very unsanitary habits...),but even small settlements with few people, become rebellious.(not very historical)

    Squalour = population.

    Health is the opposite of squalour, so build health buildings to counterbalance it. The only way to actually reduce it is to kill people, but you can get health to neutralise it.
