Adding Bots In A Lan Game?

I was just wondering if anyone knows how you can add bots when you are playing on a LAN

In Medieval Total War II

I have tried everything i can think of with no Success. . .

I was hoping for this feature too, but it seems that no computer controlled opponent can be added in a battle game.
Rather sad, I read it was possible in Rome Total War.
