    Exactly, I had read that it was possible to mix weapons so that a units weapons is count as a part of its body, so like it mixes armour/head/legs it mixes weapons aswell so you can have Sword, mace and axe.

    But its unbalanced and in some ways would make no sense in the units stats. As Mace and axe (i think), should make the unit Effective against armour, while sword should not.. not a onehanded one atleast.

    Super cool I thought it was not possible. But what I don´t understand is the balancing issue. What do you mean: imagine 1/3 have axes and 2/3 have sowrds then:
    a) The whole group receives AP?
    b) None receive AP?
    c) Only 1/3 receive AP?
    If the answer is C, there is no balance problem.
    If the answer is A or B then it would work just as cosmetic effect

    lol u guys are killing me... ive been waiting for this mod a long time and i appreciate all that u guys have done... if i might ask wat still needs to be donw before the realese of BC 1.2??

    Fourthly, the BC team is composed of adult males who either a) have full time jobs or b) have full-time university. If we had more free time - instead of just a few hours on the weekends and evenings - this mod would have been released weeks ago. Always remember that our work and school schedules supercedes any modding activities always.

    Lastly, we are definitely near completion - however, we have no release date since that's not a wise idea. It's better to judge by seeing the tasks that remain, which I will be kind enough to indulge to soothe any fears that we're in stagnation:

    - ERE is 95% complete but needs to be implemented in the master copy (AD and mine) of BC.
    - ERE, Sindh, Turks, Oman and Raj EDB need to be balanced for proper army rates
    - ERE, Sindh, Turks, Oman need unit descriptions
    - New music needs to be implemented
    - Some final tweaks and fixes to the geography and settlements on the campaign map need to be done
    - Some new scripts need to be implemented (they've already been coded, just needs some testing and such)
    - Some text related to historic events and scripts need to be finished up
    - Readme files and documentation need to be formed
    - Uploading and testing of BC 1.0 build needs to be done

    Then the mod shall be released. Mind you, a lot of the task above involve no more than 1-2 hours. While others, involve many hours. I hope people now realize that what's left to do is finite and well defined - the light at the end of the BC tunnel is blindingly bright, if you will. We just need to clean up some stuff on the way there.

    i dont think they are i think mirage said there almost staying exactly the same as vanilla

    as far as I see there won't be any other vanilla units so the units in BC will all have their stats redone, i think AD has spent a lot of time with balancing them

    The BC team is to test it as far as I know.

    Well aside from Mongols and Tirmuids, there are no vanilla units whose stats we'd have to change.

    1. Will naffatun be available as mercenaries. Ive seen sources which show the Crusaders used it as well.

    2. Will boiling oil be included in sieges?

    3. Is there any way to make it so that capturing the 1st wall of a 3 tier wall castle is 1 battle? Otherwise the enemy spreads its forces miles to thin.

    4. Will catapults fire any new projectiles. eg - loads of naffatun?

    1) Nope. But we'll look into it.
    2) Nope. Its a kingdoms things, but if we port to it, then it will.
    3) Nope, its hardcoded.
    4) Nope. Well not yet anyways. We'll look into unique projectiles for the future.
