I'd give them 1% religious conversion for the temples. Also they lack a few recruitable units in their EDB.

btw what do the terms like EDB and AOR mean, does this explain as opposed to religion levels. why in georgia i seem unable to recruit normal kypchak units

would i be right in thinking that the way that the kypchak religous buildings are set up is on purpose? to reflect the historical encroachment of christianity and islam into previously pagan areas.

EDB - export_descr_buildings.txt - the file for buildings bonuses, recruitment and basically everything for buildings.
AOR - area of recruitment - where you can recruit units. Kypchaks can recruit their "elite" units in their native areas, check the appropriate sticky topic for more information.
