    Whatever I have it actually allows me to do battles, Just not the multiplayer map. which is weird.

    Eponymous, I'm having the EXACT same problems you are. I have a Sony Vaio laptop, Intel Core2 Duo P7350 2.0 GHz, 64-bit ATI HTMI Audio, ATI Radeon HD 4650 video. Did you find an adequate solution? Suggestions?

    also

    a) If I could get the autosave to save after every turn I could work around the crashes, but I can't figure out how to do this.
    b) Are people having problems with MTW1 & Windows 7? I have the disks to upgrade, but haven't done it yet.
