Well "malik" means king or sovereing whereas "mallaak" means owner. Both words come from the root "m-l-k" and are derived from the verd "malaka" which means to posses, to acquire or to rule over. Kingdom is "mamlakah", speaking of Fusha (if were talking about a dialect then it can be way different).
Ok, probably no one cares ;-)
Anyway there will not be much left of "Al Mamlakah As-Sindh" when my fierce omani warriors overrun their provinces, he he he

both of these weapons could be used for Sindh heavy units. maybe Ghulams or guards.

Perhaps.. in few months or year - when we decide to revisit Sindh.

Regardless, they appear decorative or ceremonial.

Sindh's heaviest have been depicted (Jagirs and Soomro Warriors/Nobles, the mail/scale/lamellar clad) unless they'll be getting one or two existing Ghulams in the Slave trade.

The longbow was, as far as I know, 'the bow of India'. Even in England the longbow wasn't an 'elite' weapon so it should be no suprise that levy Indian bowmen use them.

However, it's certainly not anymore powerful than a recurve bow in BC.

Longbows are AP am i right?

    Nope!

While I am sure this argument can be carried over to the VV Section, Longbows and Composite bows were not armor-piercing at a distance (I'm sure they had some capability at it, but not enough to truly be considered AP), and were only able to pierce much metal armor at a closer distance, something below 100 meters. The only AP bows are the Seljuk Close bows, which are utilized only at a very close distance (Something like 50-90 meters)

But will they be superior to those with normal bows?

What is a normal bow? In the east the most common bow was the recurve bow. It it widely accepted that recurve bows are more powerful than longbows.

Think it was the type of arrows that were used rather then the bow that caused them to pierce armour
