Default Anthem, A Novel by Ayn Rand

The book begins with Equality 7-2521, begins writing in a series of tunnels deep under the earth. He uses plurals when reffering to himself (we, they, them). It is to show that people have stopped using the word I. I would say more but I don't want to spoil the rest.

It is a good show of why it is important to remember why you do things, because I benefit from it. Because I enjoy it.

The story is about the rejuvenation, and rebirth of the beauty of self-intrest, and individualism.

Sounds a bit like THX 1138, I suspect Ayn Rand took a time machine into the future and copied it off from george Lucas.

Overall good reveiw I have never read the book however I might.

I really should read a Rand book.
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison

If your going to take the plunge into Rand, go for the big one and get Atlas Shrugged. Do not talk to anyone about the book, I had no physical contact with anyone when I read it. Read it, and make sure it is understood. Then after you are done, you will realize, why I am John Galt.
