Ok first of all:
1) I voted.
2) I can understand boris that you and many people here make typos. But changing the whole name of the member is a bit...impolite. I know it was not meant to be written wrong, but you could have double-checked at least. His name is scipiusromanus and not scipioafricanus ,which was the name you gave him.
3) So it would be better to change this poll or make it all over again (since only the 2 of us have voted so far), cause some of the stuff may be confused by the name and not understand whom you are talking about.
4) Btw I was having these days a little PM convo with him about the Curia and generally the site and today I was going to propose him for civitate ...but I saw this...Now I wonder how would you and many other feel about making in earlier days a poll about ''gorisbavlovprozny for moderator'' ;that would not be wise and polite and many other things...
5) I agree he is a decent member and poster and he deserves the post

There is no member i think scipioafricanus or scipiusafricanus or whatever and I made a search. Besides if he was a good poster I would have noticed. I only voted for scipiusromanus (not scipioromanus as TBP said) and boris if the poll was not for scipiusromanus then tell me so I can make a new one for him... -_-
EDIT: I found a member called Scipio Africanus but he has only 11 posts so there is no question about him becoming a civitate, so probably boris meant scipiusromanus , but just wanted to give him a name of his like...
