Not with that attitude. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.
your need to edit edit descr_strat.text in the campaign folder i believe you may need to do some scripting post in the apacas script aroma
His army or the portrait because if you need the army check out my mod.

Oh and how, you need to have kingdoms, and open up your campaign script in your British_isles campaign, find William Wallace and it should look something like this
spawn_army (delete this when you copy and paste into your m2tw folder)
faction scotland (delete this when you copy and paste)
and then add army above all the units
like this
army
unit
unit
unit (example)
and then find a good place on the map to put him using the x, y coordinates, and if you need to, open up your medieval shell by using
` somewhere located on the top left of your keyboard and point your mouse anywhere on the map and while having medieval shell open, type in
show_cursorstat (correct me if I am wrong) and that will show x y coordinates wherever your mouse was.
WARNING: if you are going to add him into a settlement always delete the original factions owner, and the army in it, other wise your game will go back to the singleplayer screen.
And thats all I can really help you with right now.
