I just watched Kingdom of Heaven Director's Cut again, what a great movie, even w/ some inaccuracy. So much difference w/ the theatrical version, Fox rly ruined that version. Im very excited right now and Im thinking, what crusade period should come now?, What about the continuation of Kingdom of Heaven history, the King's Crusade, showing Richard and Philip arrive and Frederick's journey, then Richard-Saladin history. Of course showing Raymond, Guy, Balian.

And I use this chance to reaffirm my suggestion of giving Tripoli to France w/ Raymond IV, Antioch to Sicily w/ Bohemund and Edessa to KOJ or other christian faction

Golo I also watched the extension edition of the Kingdom of Heaven and I think the director made a big mistake by not using that version in the theatrical version we watched at the movie theatres.(of course he had done this for commercial reasons.)

The extended edition is very solid and in fact was essential.I knew some parts was missing when I watched the theatrical one.

As for your suggestion,I can easily say that it's top notch.Thank you for this.With some scripting it's possible to do this and also do it better with some events...

I will apply the idea and suggestion.Crusades could use some scripting.I think it's best to script the third crusade and the second crusade(where Latin crusaders sacked Constantinople gotta sweat the Byzantine players a bit)

Well the Crusade that the Crusaders ended up sacking Constantinople,was it the 2nd or the 4 th crusade? If it's the 4 th I posted wrongly I'll feature the 3rd and 4 th crusades then..

Ok let me see if I understand correctly, You wont make deaful crusader states, You'll script the arrive of the King's crusade (3°) and the Venetian Crusade (4°), The campaing still will start at 1099? So at 1189 in 1 year/turn the Third crusade will appear? then at 1201 the venetians will invade Constantinople?.
Hmmm I still belive its much better deaful crusader states, because at that time w/ 90 turns, or KOJ rules all the Middle East or the arabs already destroy KOJ. Would be needed change the starting date to like 1140. Thats why I like the idea of script the crusaders arrive but the whole balance between christians and arabs can only be reached by deaful crusader states.

Well it is a good idea. But what I am concerning is that maybe the cities of edessa, aleppo and those willl rebel due to religious differences and a long distance to the capital ( ex: Franktfurt, Paris, London)

Yes, thats the idea, make it hard to hold, the family member would help to keep a blue face in the city or even red, so the player would need to waste money in garrison or builings, making it not impossible but very hard.

In my campaigns Jerusalem usually does well.

But since I always restart my campaigns with another faction how well can I know?

Perphaps an automatic trigger of Crusade should be scripted when jerusalem falls...

Nah no automatic crusades. But it would be fun if you could reduce the years you have to wait, before you can start a new crusade or Jihad. Maybe from 10 years to five years? ( turns)

The city of Jerusalem is ripe for rebellion mainly due to the population needs a large wall upgrade to be content with.. Although I don't start Jerusalem with a large city by default,notice that I've given the money to the player to be able to buy the upgrade..

As you say if there was to be more christians in the city,it would be less likely for a rebellion to occur.

I haven't completely understood your last suggestion Eranshahr :hmmm: (it's great to be a moron,you understand what other people is saying harder )

ex:

When you start a Jihad towards Rome. ok After 50 turns you have captured Rome. The turn is turn nr 50. Then you must wait ten turns til you can start a second Jihad. Meaning 10+50=60. The next Jihad can be started at turn 60.
I want to be able to start a Jihad sooner. ex after 5 turns. I want to be able to start a crusade at year 55 instead of year 60. Meaning I only have to wait 5 turns from the previous crusade, til I can start a new one.
