FATW: The New Shadow - 2.3 patch released!

The Fourth Age: Total War Development Team proudly presents:

The 2.3 Patch for ‘The Fourth Age: Total War – The New Shadow (version 2.0b) has now been unleashed! It contains many improvements, tweaks, and additional features, such as an entirely new historical battle, The Battle of the South Undeep, that gives players some insight into what has almost caused the alliance between the Reunited Kingdom and Rohan to fall apart. Also featured is extensive campaign balance that will make the already great FATW gameplay even more exiting!

Is the patch save compatable?

Edit: It isn't I just checked the website. But I'll still download the patch if it makes gameplay more exciting.

It does. In fact I would strongly recommend that players quit their current campaigns and start anew. i think it's worth the trouble.

great the two first things i noticed is that Adunabar has more shadow in the peoples ratios and that the got an extra territory. also sweet new historical battle.

Hey when I choose to do a campaign it will not let me do that as a message comes up saying I must choose an item from the list but I have chosen it but it wont go to the factions list.

I try to go to the the FATW forums but I cant connect to the forums and find the answer.

Download the 2.6 WoM version instead of 2.3

Your copy of BI probably isn't patched to 1.6. That was my problem when I experienced the same issue. Download the patch, install it and then reinstall FANS. See if that fixes things.

Also, the forums at the fourth age site aren't working. I only want to download the mod, but where is it?
