I'm pretty busy at the moment with real life work. I expect things to ease up sometime next week.

My photobucket account is about to be suspended for the 7th consecutive mont. The AAR has really hammered the bandwidth.

    Cheers

Sorry if this has been asked, but why do these guys not use their shields? Ninja turtles?

Why do birds fly? Why is the sky blue? Okay, it might not be like that. It's just because they're sexy. Or because they want to protect their backs.

They're archers. If anything the shield should be removed. Georgia doesn't need yet another swordsmen.

I love that unit. Those shields on the backs look awesome.

    Please don't remove them.

Same reason why pavise crossbowmen have shields on their backs, eh?

np, AD fully understandable - You write really good so it makes the readers want more! So you can blame yourself

No, not the same reason. CA decided that animating the use of a pavise shield was too much. The pavise was not used like other shields. There are, however, already archer units in the game that use the shields on their backs when they switch to melee, dismounted dvors being one of the top of my head.

    Both?

It will take some time until strelac finishes the eastern romans and AD finishes the omans.... so, during this time It would be great to sometimes look forward to the next chapter of this AAR.

I dont really care for AD to show us all oman units, I would more like to experience the units myself in the game.
Anyways I'd prefer an AAR, but I totally understand that it takes alot of work doing so many units and all, so no time for aar is understandable but its to good.
