[OBR] #1 online battle report
Hello all this is my first online report so go easy!
FACTIONS: Egypt vs Armenia
RULES: cwb ( max 2 horse archers, max 6 same units, max 8 archers, max 8 cavalry, no art no ele , max 2 berserkers)
MONEY: 15 000 denarii
PLAYERS: }|{SoR}|{Bassaboxxx , Destryoer ( I didnt use my clan name cause I tried something new )
MAP: Grassy flatland
ARMIES: - }|{ SoR }|{ Bassaboxxx : -6 eastern archers, gold attack , gold defence
-5 catapfrats gold attack , gold defence
-2 horse archers , gold attack , gold defence
-5 heavy spearman , gold attack , gold defence
-Destryoer: - 6 chariots , gold attack
-6 bowman , gold attack , gold defence
-2 pharaohs bowman , gold attack
-2 chariot archers , gold attack
-4 pharaoh's guards, gold attack , gold defence
DEPLOYMENT: -Destroyer: I deoplyed my troops this way. I put 6 bowman on left flank with 3 chariots on their back and 1 chariot archer in front. Center was only 4 pharaohs guards with 1 chariot while other flank was 2 pharaohs bowman along with 2 chariots and 1 chariot archers.
-Bassaboxxx: He deployed his troops this way.he put 5 cataphrats on right flank along with 1 horse archer. Center was 4 heavy spearman and 6 easterna archers while left flank was 1 horse archer.
As battle started Bassaboxxx moved his 2 horse archers to harras my archers. His horse archers entered Cantabrian circle wich meakes them almost impossible to kill by archers.
So I sent some of my chariots to try and take care of those horse archers.
In same time he moved his cavalry forward and possibly try to kill my archers. I was aware of that so I moved all of my chariots to same flank if I need to engage his cavalry.
My chariots caught his cav and taken care of them. He saw that and sent two cataphrats to deal with my chariots. Bad move....
My chariots killed his cavalry but they were reduced to few man.In same time he adnaved with his archers to take mine.
Archer war has started as our bowmans engaged. But, eastern archers are no match for Bowmans of Egypt so they died easly and I was winning archer war.
When he saw he is losing archer war he advanced forward with his spearmans to engage my Guards.
In same time he tried to schock attack at my bowmans.
Fortunatley I saw that and reacted on time to ave my bowmans.
I intercepted his attack and he moved his Heavy spearman to engage in meele with my pharaoh guards.
I used my chariots to go on his back and make blitz attack on his archers.
In same time my other flank was attacked and my chariots there engaged with his cavalry.
His heavy spears were no match for my Pharaohs Guards so they started to rout.
He made all-out attack with his cav. My chariots engaged again.
Battle was ending for him, his troops started to flee. My chariots will make short work of those cowards.
Battle ended after my chariots routed his last unit.....it was great battle and we both enjoyed.
