NAT problems
OK, I have done everything for me and my friend here. We just cannot connect to each others' games. The reason we bought this game was to play together.
Anyways, we got our routers set to DMZ (all ports open, no firewall)
I even uninstalled hamachi because apperiently that was a problem, still didnt fix it.
We also went into the Medieval2.preferences.cfg and changed the use_Ip thing, and that still didnt work
someone please help here

Re: NAT problems
Argh, i have the exact same problem as you DarkAvenger. Ive tried everything from ports to firewalls, i want to play with my friend but it just wont let me. Whenever i do get him to join a game we get to the Deployment stage and then it will say "Network Problems" with someone, or most of the time he cant even join my server because of the useless "nat negotiation".
Please help!

Re: NAT problems
I had that problem to, but i know how to solve it.
you have to open your .../porgrammefiles/sega/meidteval2 dircetorie, then open the medieval2.preference with the editor
you should find this text
[network]
use_ip =
use_port = 27750
then add your ip after use_ip =
like this use_ip = 92.168.1.xxx or something like that
it should work.
