Here you are an huge pack of enhancement about graphical (textures, skins, models) and sound effects. I love it, it makes medieval battles much more immersive and real
NEW "Better Cities", retextured cities into campaign map.

What it means: new photorealistic skies for all weather conditions, blood, dirt and dust during battles, new textures for armours, shields & co, awesome explosions (video and audio effects), permanent arrows on battlefields, walls, bodies, impact enhancement for cannon balls, arrows, javelins, darts.


It includes: Sky & Blood add-on, Early-General add-on, Real Arrows 1.2, Burrek's Textures, Complete Turkish Reskin 1.2, Dust and Effects mod.

Installation: it's totally compatible with every single version of PDER, just extract the folder into the root directory of PDER (C:\...\Medieval II Total War\PDER 0.4 - BigMap)(or C:\...\Medieval II Total War\mods\PDER_Kingdoms_v0.1).

Ouch** Copied and extracted data to \Medieval II Total War\mods\PDER_Kingdoms_v0.1........and had CTD before accessing the main menu...any idea why this happened my lord?

thanks, one question tho, shall I still apply this sound fix even if I'm using an english version of the game and PDER_Kingdoms_0.1 not PDER v0.4? is the graphic pack including any sound update, too? I was able to play PDER_kingdoms_0.1 and no CTD before applying this graphic pack. just want to be cautious here.

The Sounds Fix is only for non-English versions. Haven't downloaded this add-on, but suspect it may not be compatible with the Kingdoms edition of PDER, as I changed the modelsdb file for that to include the Novgorod units and some other tweaks.

But just so you know, PDER Kingdoms does include:
1] Burrek's Knights and Sergeants textures but not the Knaves textures as I actually am not too keen on those ones.
2] The Dust and Effects Mod, but not the improved sound as I'm not sure it's Kingdoms compatible.

If you want the Sky and Blood Add-on or the early generals add-on, the previously released stand-alones for them should work for Kingdoms.

For me, nothing However "Real Arrows" may hit performance for older pc, that is what is written into its web page

hope you like the cities mod so much it makes it in the next release >hint hint<
but the arrows will kill my PC so things that will lower performance should be kept as an addon IMO

anyone knows what program should i use to mod blood textures..??

i think it's too much blood.. after a few hits all units are bloody.. i love the effect but i'm trying to get something between this and burrek's effects..

Pretty sure after you convert the TEXTURE files to .DDS files, you can use either GIMP or Photoshop to edit the blood.
