CA shortcuts?

Did CA do a lot of shortcuts when making the campaigns? I mean, there are all kinds of units and stuff that are not needed in every campaign. From the old world. Sicilian, Venetian, Scottish, Danish you name it. It is all there. Seems like an awful waste of space really.

All the old factions are available in custom battles in Kingdoms, just set the era to all and you'll see them all appear. That's why their units are in the unit file.
