Not me. CA certainly would've mentioned something that big in the press-release.(Well maybe not the current one, but I think they would've hinted at it.) Though I very much would like a multi player TW Campaign I can't see CA doing for this title as they've got to get the actual engine working which means stuff like Multi player will be a far away after thought.

i'm all for a multi player campaign. i'd be so happy if there is one. and it could work too. have all battles that weren't PvP autoresolved. and some how incorprate a way that everybody is doing there building and hiring at the same time. but you can't do any kind of movements till it goes into turn based. ya the game would be longer. but i don't mind. atleast they should give the option for it. but ya, i don't see it happening
If they do away with the turn-based campaign and go in slightly more real-time direction, I say its HIGHLY possible.

Although i dont expect it because they would have mentioned it already as one key feature to this game, unless they have still not decided if it is feasible due to the time constraints they have upon them to get this project finished on time
I dont think enough people would play it for it to be worth making.
I would play it with my brother over lan, taking one faction each and the rest being AI, I would love that. Clans would play too but the majority of consumers will play individual battles every so often.
I understand if some people are looking forward to it. So there isn't really anything to say. I just hope it doesn't detract from the core campaign. Then again graphics would be more than likely the killer of depth and variety in the gameplay.
Making some MP camps is easy enough. I'm already drafting some ideas for the sea battles (if they will allow for them online, if not it'll be PBM).

Its still turn based, hence it won't have a multiplayer campaign.
So no multiplayer campaign?
Sounds really cool in theory...in practice, I don't see it though. I'm one of those perfectionists, so it would be fun for the first few turns, then descend into a mind numbing wait for the opponent while I adjust taxes, setup structures, recruit, etc...
Each turn would HAVE to have a time limit or some such.

A true multiplayer campaign would be one of those things that only good friends do.
Over say a year.
Unless they really really dumb down the campaign map to only a handful of regions and force all but player vrs player to be autoresolved battles.

Uhr... they already said there would be a 1v1 multiplayer campaign some time after release, and that part of the reason for the delayed release was to put in the groundwork for the multiplayer campaign.
All non auto resolved battles will have the player who's turn is not going take control of the army the AI would normally control. THis means that every battle will be player against player.

Yep, they've already mentioned the mp campaign and I'm really looking forward to it. Throw in a couple of mods on top of that and it will be awesome.
