Whats the ETA for EBII?

What is the planned time to finish the mod - e.g. a year, by the time that ETW is released or later?

I know its impossible to accurately say when it will be released but a rough time would be nice.

I have recently made a provincial campaign and have loads of spare time - If you need more BETA testers etc I am willing to work on either EB 1 or 2. My moddings skills are vey limited but I am well capable of BETA testing and have done briefly for Roma Surrectum and Invasio Barbarorum.

We can't give a release date for EB1, so doing to for EB2 would be impossible. No-one knows.

I mean a very rough release date e.g a year two years etc - I am also refering to the first BETA release were you can play a campaign, not the actual final release.

Oh, a rough estimate. Ideally sometime in the next decade. I couldn't get more specific than that.
Seriously, we are a volunteer modding organisation, sometimes things stall sometimes things go really fast. It is impossible at this point to say at what speed we will work, what problems we will encounter, etc.
Personally I wouldn't say any less than 18 months.

Duke Nukem Forever is actually in REdevelopment and will be released sometime soon. Maybe this year.

lol? This is like the 4th or 5th time this has happened, redevelopment means they are not actually doing work and somehow tricked EA or whatever their publisher is into giving them more crack money.

The waiting time for EB2 wouldnt be so bad if there was another RTW era mod for M2TW - atm there is a greek mod being developed (Polmarchia TW) and a late roman mod being developed (gathering storm). So I think its likely that EB II will be the only released non RTW, early rome era mod for the next couple of years.

No I don't think its funny DNF was released before EB2. Much like posts with too many spoilers, DNF did nothing to improve productivity of the team and proved to be generally disappointing.

Spoilers can be a very good and effective tool in the hands of a master, but clearly one must be more discerning about their use. They're only half as funny once you realise the joke is you can just quote the post to read it normally.

Now, time to put the lid on the coffin of this one I think. Firmly shut, in case it ever gets the urge to go wandering again.
