    OK im confuse as to which one SS is currently ussing and to who adress the problem

    Siege battle are like unplayable AI dont know what to do

    here the situation AI have like 6 artillery (catas and trebuches) it have rams and siege tower but all it do is move back and forth like triying to organize or something i dont know ... all i know is it just there .... doin nothing instead of attacking me , they were attacking me so I attacked them from the castle but in my experience in all the Siege battle they re like unplayable or not worth doin them ... AI is being too stupid

    Im using SS with real combat 1.3

    Also the troops that have the catas and stuff re messed up they re bugged all they do is move back and forth and leaving the catas behinds ....

    Battle AI is Lusted's but it's not his fault. AI is just designed to be terribly stupid in every battle with walls.

    Look at the Battle Ai thread, we tested several Ai's in open battle. Seiges were nor looked at, becuase you cannot do those in Custtom Battle, and this may be a weakness of the Ai chosen.

    Try saving your game before the battle and then swopping Ai's (its just copy and paste over the files). If you get better results with one Ai over another, then let us know. You could then post your game on filefront or something and we could 'have a go' as well.

    If you don't feel comfortable swopping Ai's, just post the game instead and put a link on the thread, we are happy to test and report back to the commuiity.

    You can do them in Custom Battle. You just need a map big enough to hold a settlement.

    Do you want to do a Custom Battle and upload it then. Something with the advantage on the attacking side, with a few Trebuchet. That way we can see what happens from both ends. I have two new Ai's to test anyway, by Condottieres and Sinhuet, to see if there are any improvements that can be seen.

    Here you go. The whole trick is to raise the level of the settlement first. After that you can add defences like Citadel and whatever else you like. Not all maps permit that, just find one that does so. The Scottish one is my favourite here.
