Which Factions Do You Want For The Mod?

Great post! Its great to see you again. I always get worried when you disappear for periods of time.

Anyway, I guess according to your standards(which are very good) Burgundy and Vladimir-Suzdal could definitely be in though Serbia might require a lot of work. Also, I dont think the Abbasids would fit your standards either.

Maybe you could add Vladimir-Suzdal(or another Russian state), Burgundy, and Bulgaria(as a Byzantine vassal).

I just ask that you dont add Volga-Bulgaria and Ireland. Other than those two factions I like most faction possibilities.

I don't know when the mod starts, but if it's before the 1080s, what about 2 Western Muslims?

Giving the Taifas a faction would make them too powerful. The whole point is for the Almoravids and the Spanish to conquer them early one in the mod.

Please for the last 3 add:

Burgundy, A Russian state(Vladimir-Suzdal), and Serbia. Every other area of the map is filled(at least from what I can tell) and all those factions are very important to balancing areas of the map. Also, they were historical powerhouses.

Making the preview of Kingdoms - BigMap PDER i thought that the map is now crowded enough Anyway these are my 2cents: i drawn 5 circles in the main "empty" regions, imho.



Ireland and Serbia are just minor factions (just to fill their voids), not important; Flanders and Baltic lands were very important lands of conquer, but not before 1100-1150; the holy lands seem so empty.. It's a medieval game, i think a crusader/hospitalier state (or both ) have to be in game! Anyway, this mod wants to be as realistic as possible, and starts in 1080: is it a problem for you if we take the starting year to 1100? We have 0.5 years per turn, and many of us never saw gunpowder Or the descovery of America (now there's no more an America to discover ), i think if we will start in 1100 we can assess some new possibilities..

I would suggest Serbia, any African faction (to fill the huge Void), a baltic faction.

I would suggest a baltic faction(possibly Prussians or Lithuanians), Serbia or Bulgaria, and Burgundy.

The more I play this mod the more I see a need for Burgundy and a Baltic faction. In every campaign either France destroys HRE or HRE destroys France.Burgundy is needed to prevent this from happening so early on. Also in every campaign Poland conquers the Baltic so it seems either Lithuania or Prussia is needed to prevent this.

Toulouse is already being added so burgundy seems unnecessary.

If you look at a map you would notice that Burgundy borders Germany and France while Toulouse doesnt. One reason Socal probably added Toulouse to prevent Aragon or France from quickly conquering the other. I dont see how Toulouse could affect the HRE until a campaign is at least around 50-80 turns.
