When proposing this, I received Garb's permission before going ahead, so let's get that issue out of the way.
Now, the question is, has Garb "served the Total War Center or Total War Community with exceptional input to any of the boards or mods in any capacity other than that of a Staff Officer"? I think the answer is undeniably yes. Let's run through the facts of the candidacy; Garbarsardar is a longterm member of the site, who has been active pretty solidly at least throughout my membership. His post output isn't exceptional in terms of numbers, but in terms of quality he is singularly excellent, take these examples; example a and example b. He has also produced a few initiatives on the site; whilst the wiki was not his brainchild, its precursor and coexistor the Scriptorium was founded by Garbarsardar with help from Tacticalwithdrawal; as one of the first Scrips, I must say Garb left it in an incredibly good state for those who continued the work. He is also the founder of an underused but still extant Fight Club, which he of course has participated in; a wonderful innovation which has spawned some very intellectual debates. The final contribution I wish to highlight is, of course... the Cookbook. A masterpiece of wierd genius, a true mark of Garbesque style; the Cookbook is the cherry on top of the pudding (cooked to one of the recipes in the Cookbook of course).
This man deserves Opifex, and we should not let past travesties hold us in the immediate granting of this award to the most deserving of members.
