Warcry I THINK is getting implemented.

Christian factions cannot do Crusades, the Crusades happened long after the end of the mod.

Warcry is in, so is chanting. Berserking doesn't work so it won't get included.

Thats unfortunate. Will Berserkers still be included as some strong elite unit?

What do you mean berserking doesn't "work"? It's not possible to have the Berserkers run around killing everything in sight? Personally, I'm having difficulty making units attack each other even in vanilla. They mostly stand waiting around, ignoring my orders. I hope we can at least find a way around that.

IIRC Berserking requires some special animations (probably the really bizarre ones from the Lombard Berserkers and Hounds of Culainn in BI) which aren't in M2TW, so it crashes if you enable that ability. Same with things like the testudo I think, though perhaps I am wrong.

And there's still no way of adding new animations to the game? Why do you need the silly animation anyway?

Actually yes you can add new animations into the game. I'm currently doing that for Polemarchia: Total War mod so that the shieldwall will work (and we can use it as a phalanx). But I'll tell you, modifying animations is very long process. To just modify one stance, you have to edit at least 30 different animation files.

Editing animations is a slow and risky business.
And if it's not done properly, then the animation in-game is going to look reeeeaaaally ugly.
Trust me, I've seen it happen (*COUGH* warcraft III mod units *COUGH*).

Yea sure, I'm going to release them for public use anyways once I'm done with them.
