Latest update at Filefront: AoR update 1.7
GENERAL:
1. The aim of this modification is to give each faction at least one free upkeep unit for the city as well as the castle barracks.
2. This unit should be linked to the Area of Recruitment (AoR).
NOTE:
- It is save compatible, but your finances will suffer as free upkeep units outside their AoR will loose their free upkeep (unless you had already version 1.2).
INSTALLATION:
Point the installer to the root directory of M2TW (C:\..\Medieval II Total War\).
IMPORTANT:
PDER 04 Install.bat will copy loads of necessary files. When asked, give permission! Otherwise run the file manually after the install finishes.

- Re-introduced resources glass (North Italy) and olive oil (Iberia). So far the icons on the map are still dogs and camels respectively. Need to get the proper cas files (RTW ones don't work), but until then you have 2 more trade items (needs new campaign to take effect).
- Removed the flood event (it disallowed building forts\towers and slowed down movement until eternity).
- Made the Papal Guard free upkeep and adjusted the recruit pool slightly upwards. That should get the old man going nicely now.
- Reduced 'Shady Dealer' Trait chance for merchants. (Some merchants start off with minus 2 stars!)
