ReDStaR,
Just change "movies = 1" under the video section of the config file to "movies = 0"... although that will skip all movies, even in-game assassination and spying ones (I believe). If you still want those, I'm not sure... I think the "-nm" command worked in Rome, does anyone know if that still works?

edit: the config file is "medieval.preference.cfg" in your medieval 2 folder.

so there are no separate movie files that i can just delete or rename?
i think it's just kind of annoying having to sit there and wait for them to load, it wastes time.
There's the initial splash screen that loads, you can't make it go away, it's loading up the game.
The movies don't "load", they just play instantly. Just press escape twice and it jumps over them to the menu loading screen.
I always start the game, hit escape twice when the THX or soundblaster screen appears or whatever it is, and then go get a drink while the menu loads up.
It takes all of about 1 minutes, eh?
Yep, it takes no more then a minute to go through the loading screens and little movies. So it can't be that bad, right?
Saibot,
I can imagine and have heard others attest to how annoying it can be when you have to keep restarting because you're modding the campaign. Otherwise, you're right, it's not really that bad.
