    Default Polemarchia Total War: first download

    I thought, I might give you one unit as some kind of appetizer for the mod
    And so I present you: The Persian War-Era hoplite, which will be used by nearly all the greek city states during the first era of the mod.
    Have fun using them, give me lots and lots of reputation for it and don't forget to check out our mod once we are done.

    Okay, downloaded your unit, followed the readme, made it to the custom battle loadout, and...now my hoplites are invisible.

    Did Prof include a readme? Ah well, I dunno what the problem is. The modelsdb file scares me, to tell the truth. But he'll answer you when he gets on next and if he doesn't I'll talk to him about it.

    you alos need to change the attributes line to ::
    attributes sea_faring, hide_forest, hardy, can_withdraw, mercenary_unit

    so the unit will use the merc skin

    sorry I cant, Ive added them to a heavily modded EDu, there are like 12 new units in there, so wouldnt work for you sorry

    Ignore the buckets of blood. It's from when I installed the Longest Road and went with their bloodiest option. Been meaning to remove it.

    It was very awesome. A real pushing match, and the units look great.

    i believed my unit was pefect for installion's instructions but i have ti had a faillure!!
    i would help but with my failllure it was impssible!!

    my question:
    i must include the files in my texture files of MTW2 but wichh? there are a lot?

    soory i believed that i could install the units but there are CTD!! when i launch MTW2
    i put the the download in my model_unit as say Prof and i didnt found the model db in my data and i launch unpacker but i didnt found it!!
    i take a formated model battle db and i add the last line (those of hoplites) but there is a crash!!
    i put the unit before the hoplites for you seen if there is an error

    strickerjd, you must iclud the units int the decr_model.modeldb and in the data/model_unit/_unitand you will find the modelldb (another)and you put the lines!!
    but when i do it there is a CTD!!

    i only ask:

    what should i write in battle_models.modeldb ?
    what should i write in export_descr_unit.txt ?

    (no more for having playable thing ?)

    i want to see this in M2TW. and if i can see it, i can do lot of things later (... for you !!)

    you whrite in models.modeldb, the lines who are in the read me
    you whrite in the export descr_unit the lines, prof has give!! it's same structure that in files of rome!!
