The Aetius & Theodoric 2 vs 2 Tournament
Since most people here enjoy team battles, I'm going to host this as a team tournament (a 2 vs 2). Feel free to ask around for a partner (whether on this forum or from someone you know on gamespy). Just don't ask me to be your partner because I don't play team battles
I'll be posting everybody's names here who wish to enter the tournament. If you don't have a partner, feel free to ask any of the free agents here if they will team with you. In order to help me simplify this, I want you and your teammate to create a "team name" so that I can identify you guys easier (when I'm keeping track of all of the battles being fought). Here are some excellent names to consider: the Ferocious Stamp Collectors. The Munich Clockmakers.
In case you're wondering about the name of the tourney...
General Aetius (Roman) and King Theoridic (Visigothic) weren't the best of buddies when Attila the Hun invaded the West. But the only way they could save themselves was to band together and form an uneasy alliance. Their teamwork proved successful when they defeated the Huns at Chalons. Thankfully, we won't have to worry about the Huns in this game, but you will have to worry about how well you can operate as a teammate.

2) this is a 2 vs 2 tournament
3) all games will be 20,000 denarii
4) all games will be fought on the Grassy Flatlands map
5) do not change any of the battlefield conditions! The only thing you need to change is the map. And that map is the Grassy Flatlands. Everything else should be default.
6) Do not restrict the movement of the camera
7) Unit Size should be "Large" unless someone's computer can't handle it.
8) the game is Rome: Total War (version 1.5)
9) there are no in-game rules (you can spam units, make elephants, use artillery, etc)
10) After you finish your battle, please wait for me to assign you your next team battle
11) You can switch factions as you please. But you cannot switch teammates during the competition!
12) After a battle, both teams will report the results to me (I want to know who won, and which factions were used)

14) The winning team of this tournament will receive only one reward: GLORY! I'll also make a FRAPS video on a select game (featuring the winning team)
