Is this mod dead? If not then GUYS! I just downloaded the mod and installed it, tried some custom battles and it was great! But I can't start a campaign! I choose a faction and press start and it goes into the loading screen, and then crashes with a blank error! Any idea? Ya skazal ruski yazik brata! xD

What's the deal with this mod's progress? It's 2015 and still the new version with translation isn't out? I haven't downloaded it yet bc I am waiting for the English version but please release it if you have it bc it seems that you guys made a great mod!!

I downloaded it just fine. I've seen more mod links to this site so apparently it's a popular russian hosting site and it shouldn't have viruses. But these days Putin could have ordered to use everything to spy on everyone so

(Seriously though I read a news article that laptops/phones and such of people sent by Netherlands at the plane crash in Ukraine were destroyed because they were infected with spy things by russians)

Part 2 extract in /mods , I see there is an extra folder so it would look like /mods/Rus2/Rus2 , maybe it's necessary to cut and paste the mod so path looks like /mods/Rus2 , but I have no idea, I didn't install the mod.

Dear lovers of history and Medieval total war,

I present to you my basic english translation of this fantastic mod. I have been waiting for several years for english translation of this mod but years were passing and nobody had translated it or released the translation. So I decided that it is my turn. My understanding of Russian language is very basic but with the help of google translate I translated all the core text files and now the mod is fully playable for english speakers. I am sorry for the mistakes but I don't have enough time and knowledge to make perfect translation. I translated the text files for patch 2.01 because this is the last version of the mod that uses the original map made for this mod. The map used in newer versions (latest is 2.1) is historically and geographically not so accurate and is much more bigger and I don't like it that much. I also ported some changes from version 2.1 to this version 2.01 and made some changes to AI (inspired by AI sets used in SS mod), tweaked buildings and fixed some bugs (freeupkeep for units now works flawlessly). Enjoy the game.

The missing file is located in Data directory in the root MTW2 directory. Do you have it there? Can you start the mod without my patch? The mod is divided to two parts. Most files are located in mods/Russ2 but some files (UI and model files) are also located in in MTW2 root data directory.
