Is it possible to play a custom map on multiplayer?

Hi erveryone,

I have a question for you asnd hope you can help me.

I would like to use one of my self-created scenarios (made with the battle-editior) and play it online with friends.

Is this somehow possible? And if so how?
I'd apreciate any help/advice you can give.

Yes it's possible, however everyone n the game will need the map installed or it will come up as incompatible in the lobby.

Most likely, you'll have to e-mail the map you want to use to everyone you want to play against. Then both sides will have the map and there shouldn't be a problem.

You need to make the map in the battle editor, ignoring all the things that make it a historical battle such as deployment zones, then save the map. Once saved you move the map folder from data/world/maps/battle/custom in the mtw2 folder to data/world/maps/custom. hen upload the map to a file hossting site for pople you want to play on it with to downlaod, or email it directly to them and they should put it in the same folder. Then when you host a game on the map they'll be able to join.
