did the mod fix incompetent governors? seems every gov i had got a good trait or two that raised trade maybe 3% but then got an alcoholic trait or something like that and had trade go down 30% the result was that i rarely had gov.s and just left them out of the city bc they rarely did good for me bc they got one bad trait that cancelled out all good ones.

If i install LTC 3.1 will it have all the features of the other versions?
Or do i have to install some or one version in particular?

All versions of LTC have been standalone, meaning you only need to have the latest version and no other ones.

Lusted, are you planning on adding additional buildings to your mod? I think a few buildings more should have been in vanilla.

Hello, is there a recommended campaign difficulty level for this mod? I usually play VH/VH, but wasn't sure whether the extra money the mod gives ai factions would make VH campaign difficulty masochistic.

Yes i did, but i've decided not to include skinpacks in LTC to keep it's enhanced vanilla feel.

I am new to modding altogether, but I downloaded this one and absolutely loved it! It makes the game so much more difficult! If anyone has any tips on economy or making florins please let me know. I'm not very good with that yet. Makes killing off the other races more fun tho!

Build the lowest level farms, roads first. After that, ports is a must. Then markets and recruit as many Merchants as you can. In LTC, the're very effective.
    Enjoy.

Thanks for the help. I was trying to do that. Ports I really didn't think of I guess. Is it better to expand slowly in LTC. I try to build the market/grain exchanges, dirt roads, and farms right away with every city. And of course the town halls, town guards, and stuff like that. Should I wait on those?

Ports, from my experience, bring tons of money. Train your merchants. Lusted made them worthy. Your good trained merchant can bring you a couple of thousands per turn. Most bring around a 1,000, even from not the best resources. Experience makes the difference. Every time, you see a merchant, especially, when they travel, attack. It may hurt you in the beginning, but will pay off later on. Also, build the second level farms in both castles and cities to boost your population growth. Spend your money wise. Even when the cash is flawing. Once my treasure dropped from 200,000+ to mere 30,000-40,000 in a couple of turns. If you're playing a faction like Spain (poor starting infantry), Spear Militia is your answer for a fairly long time. Try to upgrade them to the mail armour (blacksmith) in your biggest cities.

Ok! How in the heck did you get over 200,000. I'm lucky if I can get to 10,000. Then I drop right off. LOL.

How do you train Merchants? Do u just put them on a resource, or is there a different more efficient way to train them besides seizing assets?

Again, Thanks for all of your help!

I was, already, in the mid-game
Send them, at first, to dig for gold and ivory in Timbuktu (Africa). Then, upgrade (as soon as possible, but don't make it the first priority) your Markets to the Fairgrounds - you'll get far better merchants. Of course, having Merchants' Guild in the city wouldn't harm you.
And, always, try to snatch the money from your rivals, as long as percentage is reasonable. You'll have to gamble though in the early game.
