I began another GC last Monday, this time on H/VH (I had always played on M/M). My goal with this campaign is to expand ESTRICTLY HISTORICAL (even those *****ing Marian Reforms). I called this campaign "Operation Infinite Patience"
Well here we are, let's begin
Here's Southern Italy which a conquered between 278-271
First Punic War, storming Sicily
Some conquest
After this one, I had to wait doing nothing until 238 (when I conquered Both Sardinia & Corsica)
Now, I have to wait til 229, when I'll begin to conquer Illyria
Hope you enjoy it

That's really cool, and a great idea! In my game with Rome I'd only planned to expand to their historical limits, not in the right order and time...very cool man.
Are you going to campaign against the enemies between dates for the taking of cities or are you only going to defend?
Only defend, consolidate (aka romanization), give a lot of money to everybody and do some bribery too

An small update of my campaign "Operation Infinite Patience
In 229 BC my armies, led by the Faction Leader himself, disembarked near Salona and had to face FP's heir and a 2 full stacks. After a fierce battle (no pics sorry ) I was able to take their capital
Subsequent conquest and consolidation of Illyria territory
Now I have time until 222BC to conquer Cisalpine Gaul

Yeah....in RS2, you won't see Germany expand nearly that far, or that quickly....we've made sure of that.
My current Roman game: Carthage went after Syracuse and I kept of throwing money on them and finally gave up and attacked Carthage with them...had some nice battles with both Syracuse and Carthage in them...long story shot, Carthage, Epirus, and Syracuse are dead, and Macedon attacked me last turn.
Something funny happened when I went to try to finish off Carthage...
ITS A TRAP!!!
Then a few years later....

Here is my macedonian campaign in 261 bc. Unfortunatly I started on m/m which made it all too easy. I did enjoy taking Rome!

Oh,Roman law is even more cooler .I studied it myself ."Titius herede esse iubeo " " I order that Titius will be my heir " .And things like that .
"Senatusconsultum est quod Senatus iubet atque constituit .Idque leges vitem obtineat, quamvis fuerit quesitum " .
Senatusconsultum is what the Senate orders or constitutes and it has the power of a law, though it was debatory before .
"Interdict de vi armata ".This an order that you don't use armed(note-armata) force against your neighbour .Issued by the pretor .

Another small update
Finally I was able to conquer Cisalpine Gaul just in time
Here's some pics of the fighting for the central square, Gauls are doomed
Later on, I decided that it was time to expel Carthage from Hispania (to simulate Second Punic War). At first thing were going fine
Carthago Nova just surrendered after a long siege
That's when problems arose. Due to my Logistic Problems (i have to bring all my troops from Italy) I wasn't able to face Spaniard armies, which declared war upon me shortly after I took Carthago Nova . To make matters worse, Macedonia decided that it was time to conquer Illyria so it began to siege Salona and all my forts in that area . Luckyly, Carthage is reduced to its possesion in North Africa .
Now I hope to leave windy from all these problems and be ready to punish my fellow Philip V for his betrayal
