The campaign against Macedon is actually a lot shorter than I expected it to be, but it seems well longer. So far I've got three Legions in the south of Greece with one supporting auxiluary (sp?) legion kicking about and they are slowly advancing northwards. Meanwhile in the north I've got twelve Legions marching through the old Dacian lands and then south so both forces will meet, God willing, somewhere in the middle of Greece.

Meanwhile, I've got three Legions in Africa who I'm planning on reinforcing with a couple of auxiluary (sp?) units and a couple more Legions. All in all, slowly going for that killer blow and hopefully a term of peace lasting more than two turns!

RS reflects this by; when you destroy a factions treasury, they cant build anymore buildings in that settlement. However, you can if you own the settlement.

*At least this is what i know from a while ago, i could be dead wrong and this not got implemented lmao, im pretty sure thats the case though.

Building construction is not linked to the treasury in the current release, mainly because not all settlements have a treasury so linking building to the treasury is not possible as the building tree is setup. You just get a monatary reward for destroying the treasury.

Though that is certainly an interesting idea to add to building construction.

Wow, that is one of the greatest campaigns I have seen Akritoi. The Armenian and Parthian expansion is fantastic, I am glad they tore up the Seleucids. As usual I am saddened at the incredible expansion of the Bosporans... but wait for RS2 to see what we do about that...

Well, finally I had finished my campaign (after a month and a half of fightings).
After taking Northern & Central Anattolia, I moved to the Cilician Gates which guards the entrance to Levante and Siria. Antioch was my goal (which I conquer in 143)

Once the "gate" was open my armies began storming all cities from Sydon to Memphis

The end was near. I decided that my last conquest it had to be Alexandría, which a conquer in 139 BC

Here's a picture of my final empire

Those orange regions are buffer states which a gave it to Sarmatians (I don't wanna fight against Drtad's ancestor )
    Finally some statistics

The casualties were the following ones:

    Romans: 156657
    Free People: 5778, Greeks: 24181, Macedon: 3807, Dacia: 98930, Germanic Tribes: 266810, Ptolemaic: 12223, Syracuse: 8073, Pergamum: 306403, Carthage: 67577.
    Enemy Total Casualties: 793782
    Kill Ratio: 5.07:1

    Now, to wait for RS2

    That's awesome, jerjes.
Very clever to give buffer regions to a near dead faction! I'm going to try that too!

Well ,this mod is not that bad .But there is something absurd - with this extended map 80% of the battles happen in forests .This is idiotic because in a forest you see less than half of the action .And give orders with difficulty .This annoys me .Besides the models of trees in RTW are not very successful .
I played Greece .I wonder what Rome gameplay would be in the western totally forested regions !

    I like the diplomacy .

The reason that there are so many trees on the map, is that most of Europe was forested back then, unlike now.
