Default Hotfix 1.10c - Now Available

Keep an eye out for the upcoming hotfix - 1.10c. It's small hotfix that includes the following changes:

    • Fixes the spanish merc bug once and for all - die bug die!!
    • A couple of small text fixes to unit descriptions
    • Small trait/ancillary update
    • Fixes ability to be able to build imperial palaces
    • Changes the unit_info cards for VE Legio II so both the regular and 1st cohorts have a blue shield

@Tone - Yes it is save game compatible

Hotfix 1.10c is available in the HOTFIXES thread. Install into your RTW folder as usual...NOT the 'data' directory.

I wouldn't say "fully save game compatible". Some of my family members and governors now have a whole bunch of new traits they never earned including "despises roman ways", which is a bit odd for the governor of Rome. One has the "middle aged" trait twice and another one crashes the game when i right click his unit card. So i guess it's time to start a new campaign.

Your save game file is corrupt, none of the traits you are having problems with were touched, and the only unit card change was to make voth VE Legio II unit_info cards blue. Also right clicking on a unit card should never give a ctd, if the graphic isn't there you will see a grey peasant, and if the text isn't there you get "unlocatlized text placement" or something. I recomment you go back to an earlier save.

A new version of the hotfix will be available shortly, if you have already downloaded the hotfix please re-download it and re-install it when the new version is available, it fixes a trait typo introduced with the original version of the hotfix 1.10c.

EDIT: You have the correct version of the file if it's dates August 22 at filefront.

Corrected hotfix has been posted in the Hotfix section. Still nothing on the Mediolanium thing though...maybe they were related.

Yes it will be the correct version now. Also the Mediolanium thing was the same trait bug I'm expecting, since by moving the general out of the town the error went away.

Check the bug thread, if a general who had the buggy trait was in a city, when you tried to recruit it would cause a ctd, two people both happened to have such a general in Mediolanium.
